Bio:

Creating collage, for me, is all about possibility. I find energy and joy in creating, finding and repurposing materials via collage and mixed media: paper, bits of nature, the flotsam and jetsam of everyday life. My process requires seeing possibility in the ordinary and seeing something new emerge from humble bits and pieces. Sometimes my work is deeply personal and helps me create visual evidence of emotions, struggles and dreams. And pieces take shape with the pure fun of ripping, cutting, gluing and brushing. Sometimes the materials speak to me, and I often find great inspiration in elements of the oceans, most especially its cycles and its connection to universal ebb and flow.
