Bio:

www.kathleenengstrom.com I like to play in the street when it comes to my art.. No rules, dodging traffic, and avoiding crosswalks. Discarded metal, glass, and paper retains the energy of society and I use these found objects and paperclay to create amy sculptures. My studio is littered with completed compositions, works in progress and scraps of metal that will eventually find their way into my work. A diary of sorts and I hope by allowing myself to be vulnerable, someone else will find a bit of themselves in my work. I make art as a conduit for connection.
