Bio:

Dawn Opitz-White developed a fondness for poetry and visual art as a young child. After a long hiatus, she has recaptured these passions, with a focus on sharing memories, inner turmoil, renewed strength, growth and a vision for balance and creativity. She has chosen her favorite medium--oil pastels to create bursts of bold color, emotion, and a fearless sense of self-expression. Originally from New York, she later made her home in Manhattan, Kansas—affectionately calling her journey a move “from the Big Apple to the Little Apple.”
