Bio:

Over the past 6 years painting has become a big part of my life. My work in oils began by painting portraits of the Connemara ponies we raise at Irish Gate Farm in Pottawatomie County. I then began to use horse and dog portraits as gifts to friends and family. This is how I started to develop as a self-taught artist. Observing the daily spectacle of the Flint Hills and the ever changing colors on the horizon inspired me to paint landscapes.
