Bio:

John Seevers makes highly adorned, Pine Needle Baskets. He uses pine needles from Long Leaf Pines and coats them in shellac. His adornment includes stones, shells, found objects and Tenerife weaving. John has shown baskets in various shows, most notably in an annual Fine Arts Show in Estero, Florida. He has shown in The Nelson Adkins Gallery Gift Shop, St. Petersburg, Florida, LaConner , Bellingham and Camano Island in Washington state.. He currently shows at Images in Overland Park, Kansas, Praire Fields In Beloit, Kansas, and Artwood in Bellingham, Washington. His most famous internet patron is Courtney Love who reportedly gave baskets as gifts to Woody Harrelson and Scarlett Johansson.. “baskets try to be symmetrical.
